Description

One of the true classics! This site is also known as La Cueva de Juanito or La Cueva de Los Camarones. The anchorage lies on a rocky platform at about 18 meters. From there, a vertical wall drops down to 30 meters, opening onto a sandy bottom inhabited by garden eels. Along the wall you can spot several species of moray eels (black, duckbill, and murion), as well as bream, cabrillas, and numerous greenfish.

For experienced divers, there’s the opportunity to visit two unique underwater tributes: a statue of the Virgin at 35 meters, and a dolphin honoring Jacques Cousteau at 38 meters, both placed by the World of Silence Association.
