Located just northwest of Puerto Colón, we reach a series of rock ledges in front of the village of La Caleta. The rocky tongue slopes down to about 9 meters, and as we descend along the cliff, the depth increases to around 18 meters, where we find a sandy bottom.

Following the reef makes for an enjoyable dive, with the added thrill of drifting when currents are present.

At the edge of the platform, large schools of grunts and jacks bring the area to life with vibrant color. Beneath the ledges, it’s common to spot rays or even angelsharks.
